How To Be A Blogger The Good and The Bad

The two links provided give an insight into what a good and bad blog looks like. Lets start with the bad.
A bad blog is not astetically pleasing the background is the default gray color, the background is distracting, or the color combinations of text and background make the text hard to read. In terms of text the size is usually crowded, to small, in a difficult color, or in a font that cannot be easily understood. The links are uninviting and bland, are to distracting, or dont work when clicked. The graphics are unclear, meaningless, or take a large amount of time to load. Now on to a representation of a good blog.  The text is not interupted by the background, text is big enough to read but not to big. Navigation buttons and bars are easy to underrstand and use, navigation is consistent throughout the website. A large site has a site map or a directory. The links color coordinate with page colors, and the links are underlined so they are instantly clear. The pages always load quickly, all pages have a visual impact of 800 x 600 pixels. There are good use of graphic elements and every web page in the site looks like it belogs to the same site; there are repetitive elements that carry throughout the pages.

  1. You might want to change the background. It seems kind of dark and depressing. Choose something brighter but not too bright. You want it to look professional. Also, that white highlight is kind of distractive. Your links work and are understandable so that's good. Hope it help. LMS.
